Should my daily net calories = my daily calorie goal

My daily calorie goal is 1,200. If I burn 200 calories a day do I eat 1,400 calories?

  • Yes :) 1200 is the amount of Cals to consume and still achieve weight loss, if that's your plan. If you go below, you could send your metabolism into starvation mode and start storing everything you eat as fat. The more you work out, the more you eat!

    Just to add that you need to make sure that the figure you are using is as accurate as possible.
