    Sorry guys. I promise I have been around. Just extremely busy and trying to figure out how to catch my breath. Hopefully going to get the chance to weigh in a little later today...but not too hopeful. Bad week in eating, which seems to be the norm lately.

    Lindsey - Sorry to hear about your work difficulties. I hope it was just an oversight on their part and not a jealousy at your youth and enthusiasm. I hope the second day went better. Hopefully the principal is more understanding.

    Tracy ( frogy_98) - Great job on the C25K. I loved that program. Haven't been running much lately, but just starting as my daughter signed us up for Marathon Kids (run a total of 26 miles in six months), so time to dust off my running shoes again.

    B - Great loss. And awesome to have you back. Love your pic. You look so happy.

    Cathy - Hope your world is going okay and less busy (if that is possible).

    shanell is skyler doing 5k with you? maybe i will go watch where at on danial island?

    i have another renter looking for a place. just moved here 3 days ago from TX for military. needs a place asap. so will be showing lots of homes for next few days.
    the plate is filling up again. somedays i like it like that. keeps me from eating.

    have a headache need to get rid of it. going out and window shopping today if i don't have to show houses.

    Day 2 was so much better. Evan behaved himself all day, and was actually a joy to work with. The special education teacher also sat down with me for a few minutes to go over some things. She told me, "I am sorry I left you alone yesterday. I wanted you to get to know Evan and see how he operates." OK... That's fine, but I wish she would have told me that we what she was doing! Thanks for making me feel like I was going to get NO support... Anyway, I'm going to stick with it for awhile and see how I do. And, yes, I did sleep MUCH better last night! Thank goodness.

    The good thing about this job is it does not allow me to snack whenever I want to. I have to pack my lunch now, and only get a 30 minute lunch break. The bad thing is I'm not getting as much water as I'm used to. Need to do better about that.

    Today's plan:
    B - Kashi Berry Crumble, skim milk
    S - Banana (before work)
    L - Chicken tortilla soup with a few tortilla chips
    S - Reduced fat wheat thins
    D - A big salad with some sort of protein (probably beans)

    Workout:
    Going to the gym, probably a run on the treadmill and some lower body strength training

    The special ed kids get to go bowling today, so I'm not sure I get to participate. Should be a fun way to break up the day a bit! No candy this month! Going strong!

    Good morning all!! Scale was down this morning so I am hoping for a nice loss by next week!! I had a GREAT day yesterday!! It ended up raining after work, so I could run outside...but instead of slacking, I jumped on the treadmill and ran a 5K on there!! Took me close to 40 minutes, so less than a 10 miniute mile...YAY! Then I did a good Ab workout! I'm feeling it today!! I didn't snack last night either...just a popsicle like I planned! So...onto another great day!

    Plan:
    B-Maple brown sugar cream of wheat, 1/2 c. skim milk, coffee w/sugar-free creamer
    S-Banana, Nature Valley granola bar
    L-Leftover Teryaki chicken, 1/2 c. brown rice, 1 c. grean beans, light yogurt
    S-Apple, 20 almonds
    D-Leftover Turkey Fiesta Pie...YUM!
    S-Popsicle

    Exercise:
    Shred level 2
    Quick 2 mile run with stroller

    Lula - isnt that life always busy, I know sometimes I wish I could escape, but we would miss something if we did. Good to hear your little one is excited to get active, that is wonderful.

    Cathy - I hope your day goes well and the headache goes away. Plus gotta love window shopping.

    Lindsey - so happy to hear your 2nd day went better, hope this trend continues.

    Kristen - nice job on your 5K keep up the great work. I love the popsicle idea, late night snack are 1 of my downfalls

    AFM: Yesterday was busy but good. Work was nice and then my interview went really well. I am hoping to hear good news by Friday. I know it will be crazy busy until Jan. but that is fine. Plus working there makes me want to work out more and loose some of this weight so I can wear more of the clothes they have. I love the clothes at Eddie Bauer.

    Today is not to busy so hope to get laundry caught up and some odds and ends taken care of. Have a meeting with dd occupational therapist and the director to figure out a plan of action, so hopefully the meeting goes well.

    GRRR. Up a pound. Not too pleased but what can I do. I am not on the exercise wagon and unfortunately I have discovered with getting older, the exercise is a MUST!

    Well, I'm down 0.2 ,which isn't a lot. But imagine how much I would have lost if I had actually exercised and eaten properly. Let's try it for this week and see what happens.

    Hey sixers,

    This is a vent so sorry I just need to write this to get it out, so had a meeting with my dd therapy staff and it went ok, I knew it was not going to be great but now, we get to try and rule out all road blocks that are holding her back. So we are making appts with hearing and vision then back to her pediatrician to possible get a referal to a neurologist if he thinks her over stimulation/ excited movements are possible mini pedi seizures. I deal with epilepsy so it is a matter of ruling this out or getting her on meds if they are seizures.:sad:

    This is just so hard today because when you have a child you want them to be perfect or close to, I know this is minor compared to what some parents have to go through but it just is hard to try to find a answer when it seems like there is not one. She is delayed and just want to find the light switch in the dark room so she can catch up.:cry:

    Sorry just feeling down today, wish hubby was home so I could run away for a bit, go for a walk and just clear my head. Well thanks for reading.

    Tomorrow will be better and today I need to not eat my emotions.

    Tracy...((HUGS)) I can understand how much you want your child to be perfect. Since finding out I was pregnant, everything is about her. We've been having a mini-thing at home too. About a week and a half ago, I noticed a lump on the back of Kadence's head. She's been fighting a cold, so I'm pretty sure it's just a lymph node. But being the paranoid parent that I am, I took her to her pediatrician on Monday. He says it probably is just a lymph node. But we need to watch it. If it gets hard, bigger, red, or painful, OR if it hasn't gone away in another 6 weeks, then we need to take her back and he'll refer us to a ENT doctor who will most likely want to cut it out and send for a biopsy. So...I am getting NO sleep these days because I think of the worst situation possible!! And leave it to my husband to say "well, we do have cancer that runs in my family" !!! UGH!!! So now I REALLY can't sleep and am constantly having nightmares about this stupid lump! My mom says I shouldn't worry, as well as pretty much everyone else I talk to, but I can't help it! I think about it and start crying because Kadence is seriously my whole world! I can't imagine her being anything other than the perfect sweetheart that she is!

    So...sorry that I now went off on a rant, but I wanted to say that I understand when it comes to your little sweetheart how hard this can be. You are in my thoughts and prayers to get this figured out quickly!

    Thanks Kristin for the support and I would be a nervous wreck if my little one had lump as well, this is why we are moms, we are here to protect our babies.

    Today is going to be a better day, off to work and then girls night out for bowling. I do have to say though I really would have liked if my daughter would have slept in a little longer, 5:30 was not my cup of tea this morning.

    Well gotta run and get ready for the day.

The unknown is the hardest part of all of it. In both of your cases I hope your children are just fine. But, no matter what, they are still ALWAYS perfect in a mothers eyes! :heart:

    what a day. showed houses, doctors appt again.
    went to ihop with shanell for dinner. i choose the slim and fit or something like that at the last minute. i got the whole wheat french toast with egg substitute and turkey bacon. all for 490 calories. when my lunch was over 700 a grilled chicken at arbys. i am only over about 150. i'll take it. i patted myself on the back for the sudden change.

    tomorrow is the hand doctors appt. boy these referral are coming in fast.

    shanell is doing her first 5k sat for walk for a cure. her DD1 and i and DH are going to watch. i would have done it, but, i can't. she is walk/run. i don't run anymore, bad on joints and ankle.

    Kristen and Tracy, I am sorry you are going through this. Our children are our worlds for sure! I remember going through all of that when my oldest was diagnosed with autism. The unknown is the hardest part of all of it. In both of your cases I hope your children are just fine. But, no matter what, they are still ALWAYS perfect in a mothers eyes! :heart:

    today was the scheduled off day of the 30 day slim down program and i missed the first 3 days as usual for this week...so i got monday and tuesday caught up...wednesday ill get caught up on another day because theres 2 scheduled workouts tomorrow PLUS i work in the afternoon AND need to go to grocery store

    kizzy you are doing great. i would have just said oh well and moved on. did you order the just 10 bracelet from zappo? i did and still haven't gotten it. couldn't remember if i ordered it before or after we moved. so ordered it again.

    hand doc this morning, than walmart stop, than home to clean.

    need to get going. i like early appts, than the doc isn't running so late.

    Good morning everyone!

    I am settling into my new job a little bit now. The special education teacher actually told me that this has been Evan's smoothest transition ever with a new para, so that was good to hear. So glad today is Friday though! I have to get on DH's health insurance now, and it's not good news... Over $500 per month to add me! :huh: Going to Macy's after work to apply for a part-time seasonal job.

    Today's Plan:
    B - Kashi Berry Crumble, skim milk, banana
    L - Leftover orange chicken stir fry with brown rice
    S - Cottage Cheese and an apple
    D - Don't know... I'm on my own tonight, so we'll see what I come up with!

    Kristin - We're half way through October! Only 16 more days!

    Update: Kadence's lump seems to be getting smaller...so I'm a little less worried. "Little" being the key word. :wink:

    L-2 hotdogs, 1 hotdog bun, peas, light yogurt (I know...wierd lunch but it was leftovers and needed eaten)

    D-At my parents...whatever mom makes :)

    Exercise:

    Quick 2 mile run


    Weekend plans: I'm going to be at my parents all weekend, so need to really watch what I eat as best I can. Saturday I probably won't get any exercise. Have a baby shower to help with that morning. Then watching the football game and spending time with my parents. Sunday we are taking Kadence to the pumpkin patch! I can't wait!! Hoping to get a workout in at some point on Sunday!

    TGIF!! I am so excited that this week is almost over. I am very excited about this weekend, but still a little nervous. A great friend of mine turned 30 yesterday, so her husband is throwing her a surprise party!! There will be lots of drinking and lots of finger foods. DD is going to the grandparents(great grandparents actually), so the evening belongs to me and I am staying over at my friend's house. Needless to say with all the stress I have been through at work I will enjoy this weekend. BUT, there is always a but, I don't want to blow all the hard work that I have accomplished!

    I have decided that I am going to get up in the morning, even though its Saturday and I am going to workout for at least an hour, then I am going to choose very wisely and make healthy breakfast and lunch choices, just so I can consume more calories at night. Can anybody give me a better alcoholic beverage to drink that isn't filled with loads of calories and sugar?

    Other than that I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

    Kizzy….I saw that JM slim down program that was posted and I really would like to do it, but my problem I work out in the morning, and on the days for the longer 2 vidoes I would have to get up earlier, how are you liking it?

    I don't know the last time I checked in with you guys.
    It's been difficult for me to focus on my health or weight lately.
    Life has been tough. I'm trying my best to cope.
    Which usually means carbs and chocolate.

    I'll pop in when I can to say hi but I'm pretty useless right now.

    Trying to start taking care of myself a little better.
    We'll see how that goes.

    Hello everyone! Well, I finished my 5K in a little under 50 minutes. I'm soooo happy. I walked the fun mile before that with my Daddy. So glad my parents were there for the support. My DD had a great time with all the eduacational boothes they had.
    I got 1 more day to get things done around here before surgery. Hope everything goes well. I should be out of work for about a week.

    Momma, you did make a great choice at IHOP. I did except for the pancakes :)

    Lauren, hope you enjoyed your party. It's alright to splurge, just don't let it turn back into habit, like I've been doing.

    Lindsey, glad work is getting better. You must really be a great teacher for him.

    Tracy and Kristen, hope your girls are doing better. Parenting is really tough.

    I have not weighed myself. Our baby girl has been in the hospital twice in the last week and its been really stressful. Hoping to get back on track this coming week.
