I'm 5'1 ...I started last Monday at 156 lbs and have lost about 6-7 lbs so far.

I've been out of shape and haven't worked out in years (since HS) but the last 12 months I put on about 30 lbs of that 156! So I have a ways to go too. I know it's going to take me about 8-12 months to get to where I want to be. I'm pretty lazy, love beer and wine, and hate working out :) So I'll help keep you motivated if you help keep me motivated! :) Good luck in your journey!!

5'1". Would like to lose 50lbs but even 30 would be good. 50 lbs would get me to my weight at 28 years lid so I think its still reasonable.

I'm 5ft1 and would like to lose about 50lbs so 43lbs now. Being short is such a challenge, my cals are only 1200 to only be on 1lb loss and that is going to be even lower as i lose :frown: I am tempted to put myself down to ½lb a week so I can eat 1400 cals plus exercise cals on weeks when I can't do loads of exercise but that means goal will take forever!

I have more to lose than 80. Have you thought about resistance training? Adding that to your routine can help with your weight loss.
