so confused on calories

You workout it says you erned blah blah extra calories today am I suppose to eat more to even it up???

    Yes. MFP has a deficit already built in so if you exercise you should eat those calories back. A lot of people eat back 50%-75% of their exercise calories to allow for miscalculations in burns and calorie intake.

    The initial number of calories generated by MFP already has a deficiency built into it and does not include exercise calories. Therefore, when you exercise, you will create a bigger deficiency. A deficiency too high is not healthy and could hinder your weight loss. Therefore, you may need to eat back some or all of the exercise calories. This will affect people in different ways. If you are on the low end of calories then you might want to eat back some or all of your exercise calories. Otherwise, don't bother if your initial calories amount is high enough to lose weight at a healthy rate.

    Unless you are a diagnosed diabetic then stop counting your sugars. No need to.
