I originally lost 40 pounds on mfp after my divorce. Then a 16 months ago I met an amazing man and his two beautiful preschoolers. I am in love and very happy except for the creeping scale. Suddenly I didn't have time to exercise an hour a day. Suddenly I was cooking family dinners etc. every day. Suddenly there was food in the house that I have no control over. I used to just not buy it. Well here I am 36 pounds back on. Busy as all get out and having a hard time. I tried doing by myself didn't work. So I am trying to mini workouts throughout the day so I don't have excuses. Trying to plan ahead and count all my calories. OMG have I really been eating that much, and for now I am starting on 1400 calories instead o 1200 to get used to it all

Well, congrats to you and your new family!! Hey, there are worse reasons for gaining weight - yours happens to be a great reason. Squats while you brush your teeth, walking up and down a flight of stairs 'just because' a few times a day, a few jumping jacks here and there.....There are so many ways to get the body moving - you're going to do great this time around.0
