Why does everyone have to go around throwing labels on everything?

How does what other people do in terms of labeling their sexuality affect you?

-How is defining something even labeling it? God, I guess I should stop calling apples apples. They may get upset that they have a name!

How does my asking an obviously rhetorical question affect you?

Why do gay people feel the need to advertise the fact?

Would you prefer they just assume everyone else is and start flirting with you? Why do straight people flirt? Also, so they don't end up friends with someone like you because they would find that annoying and pointless. You just need to use a little bit of thinking and logic to understand things like this.

I really don't understand what it has to do with weight loss. I have never asked nor cared about the romantic/sexual orientation of anyone on here because I don't care unless it pertains to fitness goals.

Not unless obvious is synonymous with ambiguous.

I wonder if people are allowed to discuss their workouts on a dating site? Probably would get you banned I guess

People express a lot of sexuality on here. It's some people's motivation or reward in fitness (at least partially).

I suppose in some alternate universe it wouldn't be obvious. Probably in the alternate universe of MFP where everything is deadly serious and literal.

yeah, this is the first thread in mfp history that has had anything to do with dating, sexuality, or romance; and is definitely the first time anyone has made an off topic thread that has nothing to do with fitness. Rmfe.

My first long term relationship (over a year) was with a woman. My current long term relationship is with a man. I'm not really attracted to strangers, men or women. I've never seen a picture of someone and thought, "I would love to sleep with that person." I only get that sexual desire after I know for a fact that the other person wants me in some way. Maybe this phenomenon has a name. If it does, I've never taken the time to figure it out. The fact that I'll have sex with either a man or a woman seems to make me bisexual though despite the fact that the label means little to me or the person I'm with.
