vegetarian.....turkey?

Options
I went to a bridal shower this weekend. One of the guests had brought two big trays of baked ziti. One was labeled BEEF and one was labeled TURKEY. She proudly informed us she had baked two different trays, and gesturing to the turkey, she added, "For the vegetarians." She repeated this comment twice, so I'm fairly certain she was not joking. She even got confused when my sister said to her...but vegetarians don't eat meat. Her response? "What??????????????????????"

Seriously?

    haha.
Guess some people think vegetarian = no beef. :-)
but, she learned something, so that is good :-)

no, I don't think she learned anything...she couldn't understand what my sister meant when she pointed out that turkey=/= vegetarian.

I thought she did it to save on calories, so I was grateful for her turkey ziti (it was yummy)
