Not new to MFP, but this is my first real go at it.

Hi!
My name is Michaele and tho I used MFP a few times in the past to record my workouts, they never really lasted long. I was just told that I have elevated cholesterol levels (Not yet enough for medication, but enough that I need to modify my eating habits). I'm overweight, and don't have too many problems changing my eating habits but over the long term, they revert back.
I've printed out a bunch of low cholesterol recipes that my 16 year old son and I will chose from. My husband works nights so it's just me and the kid during the week. On weekends, the meals will be a little different, but I'm hoping that changing how I eat 5 days a week will help me be successful.

Just thought that maybe introducing myself and making friends on here will help to keep me strong.
