Greetings!!

I've heard that sitting for long periods of time can be a pretty big killer to metabolism and is responsible for a number of other issues/complications.

I've decided that every 20 minutes when I'm having to sit for extended periods of times that I'm going to get up and do something. I've been spending about 3-4 minutes doing push-ups, crunches, and a resistance band exercise or two for this movement period. Is this any more beneficial than just getting up and moving for a little every 20 minutes or should I probably not bother unless I'm going to put in legit time?

Thanks!

Every little bit counts. The only difference between doing actual exercise as opposed to just walking around is that you burn more calories. It all adds up, so keep it up!
