WWYD? Would you do this race?

I had wanted to run a half in my hometown, but bibs sold out before I registered. There are now bibs available. :S

The problem being, I was training through the fall and into the new year and once I found out that it was sold out, I changed my goal race to October and started T25 instead, for a change from the dreadmill through the looooong cold winter. I haven't run many miles lately, and have one month before the race in my hometown.

For background, I've been running for two years, 2 halfs completed with the last one under 2 hrs, which was my goal.

Would you register and race it and give it your best, or skip it and do the October one? My heart really wants to race, but I'm worried about injury. That said, thanks to T25 (in part) I'm in the best shape of my life, cardio-wise, and I'm 20lbs lighter, and legs are so much stronger.

WWYD?

Mostly walking, a 10k and 6k last week, 10k race this weekend, and a couple of short treadmill runs. Last week felt good, but I've been pretty exclusive to T25 since the beginning of March.

    WWYD?

If it were me, I'd go with running the Fall race. I tried to do something similar last year and ramping up too fast for a run and injured myself. It's just my one personal example, but I imagine it is something which can happen to anybody.
