Black Bean Chilli

MY recipie

16 oz dry black beans( cook till tender)

5 cans 14.5 oz of no salt added canned chopped tomatoes

46 oz can low sodium tomatoe juice

2 tbsp ground flax seed

3-4 green onion stalks

2 garlic cloves

1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Dried Crushed red pepper flakes (as desired)

Chilli Powder ( as desired)

Sea Salt

Ground Pepper

Sautee green onion and garlic in olive oil, Add chopped tomato, tomato juice, seasonings, flax seed and let simmer. Stir occasionally Add cooked black beans mix well and enjoy
You can add 1lb lean ground turkey or venison.

Simple Quick and Healthy. Dont know the exact on all the indredients but estimated calorie count for the Black bean chilli 300 calories for 1c. 10 g of fiber 10g protien

    What does the flax seed do for it? Can you leave it out and it still tastes good????

    Flaxseed adds added omaga fatty acids and more fiber
