So i started monday and have been eating SO healthy and Working out everday! I saw my friends mom who i see about 3-4 times a month on saturday before a football game. The first thing she said to me was "you look good! you lost weight!" AHH felt so good to hear! BUTTTTTTTT i spent all day at the bars drinking beer, bourbon, shots SOOOO whoops gonna wait another week to weigh-in just to not be discouraged!

I think im gonna eat steamed broccoli for dinner the next 5 nights lol

DOES anyone have any advise on how to bounce back from a night (or day lol) of drinking? exercise and food wise?!

PS- GOOOOO DAWGS!! yay!

just brush it off. Get back on track now. Don't let that one day turn into two, or three, or four. Stop that cycle. Its okay to go out once in awhile and indulge as long as it's done wisely. Jump back on the bandwagon and do what you've been doing eating/excercise wise! You'll be fine :)

    Sic 'Em! Woof! Woof! Woof!

Just stay encouraged and keep up the great work! Treat the alcohol like you would any other beverage in your food diary and keep an eye on your calorie intake and expenditure. It does feel great to be complimented like that. Keep those compliments coming to you by staying on your track. You deserve to have a night out here and there. Eventually, you'll be able to go out an enjoy eating and drinking without worry (due to your weight loss success and lifestyle changes).

So, keep it up, girl! And hopefully our Dawgs will keep winning after that Tennessee game!

Usually my defense after a night of overeating is about 45 minutes in the sauna the next morning. I've had two days in the past month where my calories were way over what I aim for and this time in the sauna seemed to help level it out. I'm still testing to see if this theory of sauna time is effective, but so far, it seems to be worthwhile.
