Hi Ladies! Anyone else find that they gain a couple extra pounds of water weight at any point during their monthly cycle? At least, I'm hoping it's water weight! I've been noticing that it's a bit of a pattern for me each month, even though my diet doesn't change much.

Yes. Annoying but not so bad once you get used to it. I can gain and/or hold steady for 2 weeks then it looks like I drop 2-3 pounds in a week. WHich is mostly just the temporary effects going away.

I will admit it's always really encouraging to hop on the scale afterwards and feel like I've lost a few pounds without really trying!

Yup, at least, but then I look forward to the fast drop after :)

I usually just start drinking a ton of water when that happens (one gallon a day) and the fluctuations start dying out and steadies. No big deal though. As long as you're eating right and staying active, and you feel good, then don't let little scale jumps scare you.
