Nothin to sneeze at...

So...my goal when I started my fitness pal almost 30 days ago was to lose five pounds in the first month! I figured it was a realistic goal and enough to keep me excited enough to set up a new goal for next month. I am excited to say that when I weighed in on day 25 I was already down 5.2 Lbs!!! Ahead of my goal and rarin to go! This was the weekend I was planning to set up my goals for the next month...I aquired a sever head cold from one of the darling children I work with everyday! Needless to say I have been sneezing all weekend and I want to pull my teeth out they hurt so bad from all the congestion. I haven't worked out in over two days and I am struggling to stay under my daily calorie goals. But I now realize...I am okay...this too shall pass! I have, however, decided to change how I am setting up my goals for the month. My new goal is to maintain my weight for this week and then lose 4 Lbs. in the three weeks following that. That will bring me up to a total of 9 Lbs. in two months...once again, nothing to sneeze at!

    Way to go!!! You have to be realistic and patient and you're off to a good start. That body of yours will reward you if you stay with it!:smile:
