    You're not going to get "bulky" though. Women don't have the testosterone necessary to do that, and you have to eat at a surplus to build muscles. You will get stronger.

    I've been lifting for one month and my most recent measurements showed a loss of 1 inch from my hips, 1 inch from my waist, and 1/2 inch from my thigh. My arm, calf, and bust measurements were exactly the same. I also had a loss of 3 lbs in that month, an average loss of .75 lb/week. It was my first time actually tracking measurements, so I was really excited to see results after a month. My clothes still fit the same, so that wasn't really a good indication of my progress.

    ya, that's what "size increase" means

    Could that be why I gained an inch on my belly?

    It doesn't seem like you are lifting heavy enough, but I suppose it is possible.
