getting my life back @ 40

I am a 40 year old female weighing in at 164 and not happy  I am only 4'11 and not getting any taller

I need to do this for me first and my family second. I have tried several differnt types of diets and have not found anything that works. I know that this is not an instant fix, but at 40 years old...it's even tougher. I would like to be able to keep up with my kids and join in on their outdoor fun.

My health has been an issue since I was very little, so it's diificult to try different diets and not have to worry about myself. I would like to find something that helps me eat food and eat it the "right way."

I would like to have conversations with others to help each of us get to our goals. :flowerforyou:

I completely understand. Glad to hear you are ready to commit to making some changes to get those results. I'm in a similar position and have recently rededicated myself to not only getting my own fitness and nutrition in order, but helping others in their similar journeys as well. Add me as a friend if you'd like someone to give you an extra push.

I am in pretty much the same boat. Definitely finding it harder at 40 to lose than it has been in the past but I am determined to do this. Feel free to add me if you'd like. :)

I fully understand how you feel. It is harder to lose weight after 40. But there is no time like the present to start making a healthier you! Add me if you like!
  • I am 46 and 5' 3.5", so I understand that it a bit more difficult as we age. I am getting there, slowly but surely. You will too! Sending FR.
