Be happy but never satisfied!

Did it.
Done!
I am hovering between 110 and 115... I don't indicate an exact number here because of several factors including loose skin, not to be gross but more bathroom (movement) to go lol, etc.
My plan is to maintain between 115 to 120 as my individual healthy weight is around 120.
Funny, I love being skinny and I love being fit, fit being more important of course. I looked at a couple of photos of myself when I got married over 10 years ago and weighed around 13o to 135 and couldn't believe how great I looked! Not wanting to sound like I'm tooting my own horn here but... wow, my body was rockin'! I am thinner now but I feel like I looked much better back then. Oh well, such is life.
I made a promise that when I hit my goal I would stick to it and honestly I am pretty excited about allowing myself to eat more than I have in a long time. It's very easy to get caught up in losing more and losing more.
I had not weighed myself in 10 years and didn't even own a scale. When I finally got convinced to weigh myself and was around 120 I just couldn't believe it! Then I thought if I could get to 120 I can get under that... and I did. Then no matter how much I lost and how many new goals I set for myself, as soon as I hit them it wasn't enough, I wanted to be thinner and thinner. At some point I lost sight of becoming fit and healthy and got consumed with being skinny. But when is it enough? Could I continue this and lose another five? ten? could I get my weight down to 105? down to 100? under 100? Hell yeah, of course I could. But do I want too? Hell no! At some point you have to ask yourself how far you're willing to go...
Re-assess, set new healthy goals and try to remember why you started and where you wanted to be in the first place.
I feel as if I have a sustainable nutrition plan because I was careful to focus on eating clean and healthy throughout this journey. I'll continue to eat that way for life... just more of it LOL!
The other good news is I was able to get my body fat percentage up a little bit, it was dangerously low a couple of weeks ago. So at least now I have a little something to work with for lifting weights. I'll continue my workouts e.g., cardio, boxing, weights, etc. because I love it, but I will eat accordingly and that means up to my goal minus calories burned.
Exactly one year (within a couple of days) to loose close to 70 pounds. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever be one of those fit and skinny girls... a year ago I used to "wish" for it until I decided to take action and "work" for it. If I can do this... anyone can! Now that I am here I can truly say it's a process and does not happen over night. Yeah sure, you can lose weight quickly but it has to be sustainable, that's the key and that's the trick. Learn and grow and change...
My only real advice, if you should choose to hear it... is that once you hit your goal, and you WILL hit your goal, don't think of it as an end. Think in terms of a new beginning. Be happy but never satisfied and when you do hit your goal, immediately set new goals. Don't ever stop pushing forward. When your goal shifts from losing weight to maintaining and setting some new goals it feels kind of strange LOL, but if you set new realistic attainable and manageable goals, you will reach them.
