How many calories in a "low calorie" meal?

I'm just wondering how many calories most people are thinking of when they talk about a low calorie meal. For me, it's varies based on the meal. I like to eat light during the day so I can have a bigger, more filling dinner. So I tend to aim for 500-600 calories for dinner, and something like 300-400 for lunch, with the rest being allotted to snacks, breakfast (usually just a greek yogurt or bowl of special k), coffee, etc.
I know it's all good as long as it fits in your budget for the day, which is going to be different for everyone- but I'm curious how other people's meals tend to work out.

Depends on what your calorie goal is. I eat 4-6 meals a day, between 300 and 500 cals each. Dinner is sometimes higher calorie, like 700 or 800 if I eat with my husband.0
