Single to instant family of 4 (help me adjust)

Anyone go from being single to having an instant family and need help learning how to adjust exercise and food intake accordingly. This has been the toughest transition I have ever loved. However, my waistline rebelled. Preschoolers and a skinny man (size 32) who can eat anything do not make good diet companions. Especially when my sweetie will bring doughnuts, tacos etc. home.

I need friends who understand. Who are where I am at and understand.

Thanks Cooper

Hi! I was single and now I have a family of 4 also!

I moved in with my now husband in November 2010. We got married July 2011. Right now is the heaviest I have ever been. When I was living alone I didn't have as much junk in the house b/c it was just me. Now with 2 kids there are snacks galore!

I know I need some self control but it was so much easier when I didn't have the stuff.

Also I would walk faithfully (almost) everyday. My goal was to walk 1,000 miles (counting exercise only) each year. I succeeded multiple times. When I was alone I could walk anytime I wanted to rain or shine! Now I don't have as much freedom. I have to make sure if dad and daughter are at flute lessons, I wait for them to come back so I don't leave the other at home alone.

Some will say exercise early in the morning. HA right!
I am the first one up every day and the last to bed every night. I am getting 5 hours of sleep.
I leave the house first and I am the last one to return everyday.

Sorry for going on and on but I know EXACTLY how you feel! Not to mention the LAUNDRY :)
