Nike Training Program

I've officially come to the conclusion that in order to tone up a bit of my stomach and flabby areas.... I have to TONE them. Wow. How strange, right?
I'm not a huge fan of cardio. When it gets warmer, I would probably go out on daily walks, light jogs, biking a bit, or maybe even rollerblading. (Yes, I find that fun!) But, I'm lacking definition and muscle.
So, I found this app on my phone, the Nike Training Program where you can: Get Lean, Get Toned, and Get Strong.
Since I want to tone up, I was wanting to start the Get Toned section, but I was wondering if anyone else has done it? If you have, did you get good results?
I want to strength train and weight lift more because I hear that's REALLY good for you and I haven't been doing much of it. Also because I'm not really sure how much of it I should do or what the right moves are.
Any advice?

I use Nike Training Club quite frequently. I did the intermediate Get Toned program with running and got great results. I gained strength and definitely toned up. I recommend it all the time to people looking for a good workout.
I should probably add that the workouts are extremely challenging, but that's what gets the great results.0
