Hip Flexors

I had to take a few weeks of from working out due to a pulled muscle in my neck. I've been able to get in consistent workouts for the last 4 days but my hip flexors are SUPER tight. To the point that I can't do a V-up with pain. I've been doing T25 but am hesitant to run with the tightness since I can feel it when I am just walking.
Today is a recovery day so that may help some. Any suggestions for stretching them out or working around it?

Hi, I like a yoga pose called proud pigeon, see the link. I've not read through the text so read it first just to make sure you won't injure yourself!! You can keep your hands on the floor in front of your horizontal shin if you like to support yourself. This stretch REALLY gets into the hip flexors - I probably overdid it the first time I did them - so ease into it!
Good luck0 -
