I really enjoy aqua aerobics but was wondering if doing the same thing all the time would in time plateau any weight loss? Any theories or ideas? Thanks.

Continuing the same program over a period of time will allow the body to adapt. You'll still burn calories, but your body will be efficient with how it conserves energy unless you up the intensity.

It can if you don't continue to push yourself. So if you just do the same workout with the same intensity over and over again your body will definitely get used to it. Keep trying to push yourself in your workouts, if you find that it's just getting too "easy" then you may want to try something different.

Best bet if you want to keep doing it, however, is to try adding something else into your week to keep your body guessing. So maybe do aqua aerobics 3x per week and then something else 2x per week. Your body will do EVERYTHING it can to keep you maintaining so you need to trick it often until you reach your goal!

Feel free to friend me! :)

^ This. It's good to change things up, less boring this way too.
