Spicy Turkey Chili
190 calories, 20g of protein, low fat, and a good dose of fiber in each cup.
3lbs of 97% fat free ground turkey. 1 green bell pepper, 1 red bell pepper, 1 white onion - all diced. Two regular sized cans of diced petite tomatoes /w chipotle peppers. 3 medium (28 oz) cans of plain tomato sauce. 2 cans of chili beans in chili sauce. 1 cup of chili powder.
Put turkey, onion, and peppers in pot and cook on high until turkey is browned. Add all other ingredients and stir well. Reduce heat to low stirring occasionally and cook for about 45 minutes.
If chili is too thick, add some water. However I tend to keep mine on the thicker side as it keeps me full longer. This obviously makes quite a bit of chili.
