Newbie to calorie counting

Hello...I'm new to this whole calorie counting thing. I have never really had to watch what I ate, let alone keep track of the calories I consume, until I have a baby 2.5 years ago. I have always worked out 5-6 days a week. But over the past year or so, it seems like its been to mainly maintain my weight. I still have the dreaded 10 pounds I would like to lose to get back to my pre-baby weight. I'm hoping this site will help me do that, since I haven't been able to do it on my own with what I am currently doing. Any advise or what to eat is welcome.
