Just wondering the difference between the two. That is all. Anyone with experience with the two? Or can tell me what they know.
Thanx

Apples to Oranges.
I've actually tried 30 day shred before, and to me it wasn't a good workout, way too easy, it got old, and it wasn't fun. I'm sure she has harder programs out there, I just have no experience with them.
Insanity was by FAR much harder, much more fun and pushed me to my limits and BEYOND.
What program are you looking at and what are your goals?
I would say that you already look like you are in great shape, so I would go with Insanity for sheer challenge....I'm about to finish up Insanity Asylum next week.0 -
Was just really curious because I hear alot about the two on these message boards. I'm a runner at heart and do zumba. No real interest in doing either of the dvds right now but might be in the future. Thanx for the reply!0

Me too!!!
I run and do Asylum right now, but running is where my heart is at Did 7 miles today and then did the final 73 minute crazy workout in Asylum Vol 1 called Gameday+Overtime
I did Insanity during January/February because it was just too damn cold to run....-30 deg, no thank you, I'm not that hardcore0 -
I love 30 day shred! Great workout for beginners, IMO. Insanity is high intensity cardio. 30 day shred is 3 minutes strength, 2 minutes cardio, and one minute abs. The entire workout is about 28 minutes while insanity is 40 minutes. However, I love Insanity. You get good results with both! I recommend starting with 30 day shred then graduating to Insanity.0

I jumped into Insanity with no prior exercise routine and I did just fine. It was really hard, the first few times I made myself sick (drank too much water too quickly plus all the jumping and dropping to the floor), but it made me soooooo much stronger.
I've never done the 30 day shred, but I would definitely recommend Insanity, even for a beginner (which it sounds like you're not, at least you're not a beginner to the exercise/cardio scene).
The beauty of Insanity is that it's REALLY DIFFICULT when you first start out no matter what level of experience/strength you start at, and as you get stronger, it..... stays REALLY DIFFICULT because you just move faster and do the moves with better form0
