Changing my exercise schedule

I'm going to change my exercise schedule a bit, because ive read that you need to change it reguraly or else your body will get used to it and not work. So im going to tell you the exercise plan i have come up with and feel free to give me advice on what you think will work better/not work.
I read that getting up around 7ish and doing cardio is the best way, so im going to wake up at 7, 3 days a week and do 36 minutes on the cross trainer.
Im then going to go for a walk around 8ish at night. On the days that im not doing cardio, im going to do weight training, because i want to get rid of my flabby belly in 81 days, and i also read that its best to do this at night.
Feel free to give me as much advice on this as possible!!

I don't think it matters what time you work out, workout at a time that suits you and you will stick to it. I work shifts and have kids so I have to fit it around the kids and work. One day I will work out in the day while the kids are at school, the next at 10pm when the kids are in bed. I work nights a lot so often workout after a night shift. I prefer to workout when the kids are at school less distractions.
I have to change my workout to fit in with what I am doing that day. For example if I am on nights I can't fit in a long run so I will do lifting or a quick DVD. I try not to stress too much as long as I do something. Your routine is great if it works for you and it gives the results you want.0 -

Find exercise that you like and you can keep up with and workout at a time that is convenient to you. There is nothing wrong with what you have proposed but just do what works for you.0 -
Like fatdoob I think you have been using some very dodgy sources for your information! Mystic Meg perhaps?
What you do matters 99%, time of day when you do it 1% (IMHO). Don't over think it - do the exercise you enjoy at the time that fits in your routine the best.
Yes you should seek to progress but that is because you are getting fitter & stronger not some weird body getting more efficient or accustomed to a routine theory.
I also like cardio and weights on separate days as I find the quality of both training sessions is much better when not compromised.0 -

What do you mean by changing your schedule? It is generally a good idea to vary the type or intensity of the exercise you do but the schedule (i.e. time of day) is largely irrelevant to anyone except competitive athletes. But first and foremost you should find exercise you enjoy and gradually increase a variable of choice (i.e. time/speed/distance).I read that getting up around 7ish and doing cardio is the best way, so im going to wake up at 7, 3 days a week and do 36 minutes on the cross trainer.
As above, choose something you enjoy. If you enjoy the cross trainer then do that. If you enjoy riding a bike then do that. If you enjoy dancing then do that. Just find something you enjoy because that is what you will stick with.im going to do weight training, because i want to get rid of my flabby belly in 81 days, and i also read that its best to do this at night.
Where did you get the idea that weights will get rid of a "flabby" belly in 81 days? That's a weirdly specific number of days. Anyway, weight training is good if you want to do it but it won't get rid of your flabby belly specifically. Losing weight overall will help with that, although you can't spot-reduce. Weight training is good for body composition and building strength. Again, timing is unimportant.0
