The dreaded Flap!!

Since having my son, I have.....THE FLAP! It doesn't matter what I do, I can not get rid of it. Last year I went all crazy and got below my pre pregnancy weight, but I still had it. Since I did not lose the weight in a good way last year, I put it all back on and then some. This year I have made a commitment to a life style change, and its working out well. I'm losing inches and weight slowly but I feel much better.
My question is, what can I do to get rid of the little pouch/flap? What workouts are good for that?
This is my routine right now:
30 minute Julian Michaels video
3-6 minute workout dance video
3-6 minute song of my choice that I do 30 second planks with 10 second rests until the song is over.
My husband works nights and money is tight right now, so a gym membership is out of the question. Also time is tight. I get home around 6-6:30, make dinner for my son and I, quick workout, then its bath time, and bed.
What sort of dynamics can I add to get my abs back?

Since your doing cardio, do some weights. I know you said money is tight, go to yard sales or Walmart or better yet friends that don't use them. Weights will become your best friend. Of course, as other will say there is no spot reducing, with weights and due time it will do. Mine is slowly getting there.0

Luckily, my dad was doing some repair work for 24 hour fitness, and they gave him an entire weight set! The workout videos I do are Julian Micheals and she does some low weights. What kind of weight training are you referring too. I am really new to this whole workout thning!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I got down to 101 lbs (don't freak--100 lbs was my age 20's weight and I was very lean and healthy, with muscle).
Anyhow , 3 years post-baby, I was in the gym several times a week doing weights- including ab exercises. My abs were toned and I was lean. But I still had a little bit of a pouch at the bikini line. :frown: The pouch is the only place I got stretch marks, and just a few. I think the skin stretched out. Probably surgery will be the only way to get rid of mine.
That said, it will be *smaller* if you lose some of the fat that's plumping it up.0
