Who doesn't like donuts?! Donuts are one of my favorite foods, when dieting we all know it is hard to fight temptation but with this recipe, you can have more than one if you want since this recipe makes these donuts only 106 cals per doughnut, 5g of carbs, 4g of fat, and 14g of protein per doughnut!
To be honest, these donuts are very light and fluffy, not heavy like most donuts, so what is awesome is that after you eat them you don't feel stuffed and sick!
Here is the recipe for the donuts and chocolate glaze!
Preheat oven to 350!
3/4 cups of protein powder
1/4 cup of stevia
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1 egg white or egg if you want to up your fats
3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp of melted coconut oil
dash of cinnamon
1 tsp of honey
Mix ingredients and pour into doughnut pan (I got mine from Amazon for like eight dollars but you can get them at Walmart or Target!)
Place pan on middle rack and bake for 10-12 minutes
Glaze:
1 snack cup of Jell-O sugar free chocolate pudding
Put it into a bowl, heat on high for 40-60 seconds, I would do this after you take the donuts out of the oven then while pudding is hot take doughnut and put it face down into bowl and twist in a circular motion to distribute the glaze evenly. Cool, and enjoy!
I love these! I'm so glad I found this recipe, I'm still tweaking it but I'll be posting more variations as I'm experimenting!
Enjoy!
P.S. If you want to see pictures, I made them today and posted them on Instagram, my IG name is: JessieNeutronGirlGenius
