Newbie sort of

I joined here a while back and didn't really use it and am on another site like this but have to pay for it.
so gonna decide which one i like.
At the moment this one is giving me 100 cals more to eat a day
I have loads to lose also I am a vegan.
I cant get my head round lof logging how much of food you have i.e in ounces as things comes up in 100g i know what is roughly 4 ounces but what if you only have two ounces of something?
Maybe I am being a bit thick by asking haha!
If anyone would like to add me they can,

You can go into your settings and alter your calories for the day, this worked best on my mobile. I cant see the point of paying for a site when this one is free. If you don't want to weigh and count your calories then this is not for you. However it is the best method.

You also need friends on here to keep you motivated with their food diary open because the secret is eating healthy.

I hope that helps in some way

Hello  yes that's what i am doing with the other site, its the same as this and have set it up the same too!
Cos its a monthly payment I am only halfway through my month on there. so trying this one then will make up my mind which one to go on.
I came on here a while back but got a bit lost with it and it also stopped working on my mobile too.
Then i had the heads up form someone and that person is on here so thought i would give it a go again.

I agree it is the best method slimming world and all the rest are ok but not a long term fix.
Its also having the will power too :frown:

    Thank you

I have just looked at your profile and you're from England, me too. Uninstall the app on your phone and try installing it again, especially now you're logging on. Feel free to add me and check out my profile.

I'm sorry I cannot help with your veggie diet but I am sure if you post on the community pages regarding vegan diets you will get a response. Keeping protein in your diet helps burn fat and measure your body too as this is a great indicator when the scales are not moving. Drink at least 2 litres of water to help flush out your liver, which is working hard to remove fat from your body.

What is your goal weight? Create targets to reach that goal weight, you will see mine on my profile. My main focus is my holiday in Turkey and a wardrobe of smaller clothes. Find something you really want and make that your goal.

    Good luck!

Thank you mowbry I will do that, I wish i had got a different phone haha, what part of england are you from?

I have just started having protein shakes today well had one this morning with my juice i make so will keep that up
and also hoping to hit the gym again soon
I do feel like i have lost inches and need to take them again. It is disheartening when the scales don't move so will def do my measurements :-)
as far as water goes that is another struggle drinking it. I like water but forget to drink it and go have a cuppa instead haha!

My goal at the mo is like a stone lighter than i am, if i put my full goal down I will get fed up if it don't come of quick enough
I need to lose about seven stone so one stone at a time then it doesn't feel such a big deal :-)
Or such a long way off either. :-)

Aww lovely hope when you go you will be at your goal and will have a lovely time :-) good luck on your journey.

That link may be of some assistance.

Also, here are some tips for water consumption.

Put fruit in it. ANY fruit. Sliced strawberries, frozen grapes, try cucumber and lemon together. Just cucumbers.
