Any ideas on good cities/neighborhoods to look at?
Context:
Lived in Silicon Valley for years, visited SoCal...but not familiar with cities/neighborhoods.
Location: commutable to UC Riverside & Pasadena City College. (Yeah, I know how awful traffic is...and 1 hr is a reasonable commute)
Optimal: good walking areas - either a neighborhood you can walk in, or nearby rec trail/park/whathaveyou. Outdoor potential FAR outweighs nightlife, cultural, etc. Weekends will find me out hiking with the dog, not star-stalking...
Thoughts?
