Exercising after chest infection

So I made it to almost 28 years before getting my first chest infection! Middle of last week, I was hit with a bad cold/flu which developed into a chest infection. I'm slowly getting better but still have a cough and 'muck' in my chest. My asthma has also been affected which has never happened before. Safe to say I stopped all exercise as this has completely taken the wind out of my sails. My appetite is slowly coming back which is great and I don't feel so drained. I'll start off easy and take the dog on a walk Wednesday or Thursday to see how if feel. I do mostly body weight training so when would be best to return to this do you think?
