The MANY obstacles

Hi guys,
I have something I need to share and would love some feedback.
So, as a young child I was diagnosed with asthma. I was unable to do anything that could cause me to get out of breath because I would have an asthma attack. When I was 20, I decided to make a change. I couldn't live the rest of my life without finding my potential. I signed up for a competition at my local YMCA that involves completing the amount of running, swimming, and biking in a month that a triathlete completes in a day. I set a schedule and I stuck to it.
My lungs were a constant hindrance. I would wheeze after running only 3 minutes on a treadmill. I decided to push through. I kept an inhaler nearby and decided I would quit when I passed out from lack of oxygen. It was painful and difficult but over the month I was able to run, bike and swim longer without an attack. My lungs had held me back for so long that any pain that I felt in my body didn't matter as long as I could breathe.
Three weeks after the start of my triathlon, I finished first in my age group. I had finished while suffering an additional injury. I have tendinitis in my leg because I overpronate (when your toes point out from your body as you walk or run) and the impact of running damages my shorter leg.
That was 5 years ago. I have been to three different doctors. I have had x-rays, months of physical therapy, and even have $300 shoe inserts. I don't do any running. I use the elliptical and the stationary bike for my cardio. Despite all of this treatment I am still suffering. Last night, walking was painful and today the pain in my leg is continuous. I can feel the bumpy scar tissue on my tendon...
Guess what I will be doing now. Going to the gym. I am going to continue my routine as usual. My leg is my new obstacle and I am going to try to beat it the way I did the asthma. If it gets worse maybe a doctor will be better able to treat it.
We all face difficulties just getting the motivation and the time to go to the gym. Those of you that are lucky to have your health should be thankful everyday you step foot in a gym. Run extra for me today because it's something I may never be able to do again.
Good luck everyone.

Congrats on your accomplishments, but why suffer when you could have relief?
Try a chiropractor who is CCEP ( Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practioner) qualified. It's a speciality that addresses hip, knees, ankles, feet, clavical, ribs, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hands- regular chiropractors don't have the training for the additional skills required, so make sure you ask to see the CCEP diploma (don't take their word for it if they say they can adjust extrimities). Results can be amazing- I've been in 2 major accidents and now have full range of motion.:happy:0
