If you are looking for a challenge

I took part in a one of those crazy obstacle course races at the weekend, and even though I'm still sore and covered in bruises, I feel great! There are lots of variations of them out there, the one I did was called WAR-a 10km run with over 20 obstacles. After signing up for it in feb (a result of workplace peer pressure) I had something to motivate me include running in my workout plan, which was great as I hate running. It was my first 10km ever and I've never gotten close to 10km on a practice run so on the day I wasn't able to run it all, but I jogged and walked some sections and I completed it! There is no way I would have been able to tackle those obstacles a few months ago. Knowing that my fitness levels are improving while I'm on this journey to a healthier me is the most amazing feeling.
So if you have hit a wall or become complacent in your exercising, I strongly suggest signing up for a challenge.
