Hi,
I searched through the forums to find a topic about this but I'm coming up with either "Eating back Exercise Calories" or "Fitbit users".
I have my MFP set to "Sedentary" lifestyle because I work at an office job and before I bought my Fitbit one I didn't have any idea if I was getting in enough exercise other than when I actually worked out. Now I aim to get 10k in steps a day . I don't want to change my settings yet to anything but sedentary for if I get a really busy day I may not be able to hit 10k .
So regarding eating back exercise calories. I currently eat back whatever I burn by actual exercise. If I walk on a treadmill I calculate how many calories I burned through www.caloriesburned.com but I don't eat back my calories burned via. Fitbit.
My question is should I try and eat back some of those calories?
However yesterday I managed to hit my 10k without going to the gym and exercising at all. I assume that perhaps on these days I should also eat some more calories.
Also what about strength training? I'm currently trying to lift heavy . Besides trying to meet my protein needs I'm not bothering to calculate any calories burned via. strength training. Should I be?
Thank You all in advance. I appreciate the advice.
