What a day! What a day!

Just got home....2 of my kids had to take the PSAT today. We left really early and it took an hour just to get there and on the way back, my daughter realized she left her scientific calculator and so I had to turn around and drive all the way back to discover, everybody had already left and there was no way she would be able to get it. I am so frustrated. Those things are really expensive! My 2 sons were about to starve (atleast in their minds...lol) and I was feeling the pressure there too. So when we finally get home, the phone starts ringing off the hook and the kids are still hollering "hungry". I had breakfast at 6:30 and an apple at 10:30, so I was hungry too. I did not dare to stop and get anything because I knew I would order something I should not, because I am an emotional eater. So, we just ate lunch and now it is time to worry about what to fix for supper. And I have to be at the funeral home at 6:00. I have had a really stressful day. No wonder I am overweight! LOL Thanks for listening! I really needed to vent. :)

  • You did well though! You didn't stop and get something fast and bad for you and your family! WTG!

Vent away my friend, vent away.
  • Sounds like you need some healthy snacks, like blanched nuts, fresh produce that you can grab when things get hectic...Sometimes, I plan ahead and take a day to prepare meals ahead of time that can easily be rewarmed.

Hang in there! Be proud of yourself for not caving in and stopping somewhere for something easy. That easy stuff will kill you and you want to be around along time & healthy!! That drive thru stuff isn't even an option anymore!

    Go mom!!!

Thanks everyone! I am feeling a little less stressed now. I just got home from the funeral home and am about ready to go to bed. I have a funeral tomorrow but think I will be ok. Thanks again!
