Divorce is making me lose weight

I'm going through a divorce and sadness makes me not want to eat. I am dropping about a pound a day. I know this can't be healthy but I just choke on any food I try to eat. I am really trying hard to eat at least 1200 calories a day but it is more like 800 each day. I'm sure I'll eventually get back to eating normally, but should I be concerned about my health while I'm dropping weight so fast? After all, it's just temporary.

You will be fine. i understand what you're going through. When you do eat right now pick some higher calorie foods to make sure you fill the calorie void. But your overall health will be okay as long as this doesn't get out of control.

Julie, don't worry about a bit of missing calories for now - if you can't do it, you can't do it. The natural response is taking over, and if you're not hungry, you can't force yourself to eat. You are getting something in, and things will straighten themselves out in a bit. (hugs)
