Afterburn Effect

I changed up my workout routine, and the exercises in it. I had been doing cardio first, then lifting after. Now I'm lifting more weight in circuits, and doing some moderate-vigorous cardio after. Typically running a few miles, or some stationary bike around 18-20 MPH.
My question is, will the normal afterburn from strength training be diminished because of the cardio? Will it be enhanced? Just wondering if anyone has knowledge in this area. Not looking for anything anecdotal.
Thanks.

as long as your not losing any intensity in your lifting or cardio i should imagine it would be about the same0
