As the title says: Since starting your fitness journey, what do you think has been your favourite/biggest improvement? Can be of both body and mind. Let's celebrate those accomplishments!
For me it's portion control, flatter stomach and less chubby thighs. c:

She said journey. *snorts*.0

Mentally it's less worrying about what I look like to others, if my clothes are clinging to my fat, if I'll bend a flimsy chair, etc...physically, my legs look pretty good these days!0

I like my biceps now but if I had to pick one, I'd go with the improved lung function. I play hockey just about year round and it's a world of difference from 2012, when I changed my lifestyle, to now0

I can paint my toenails without gasping for air. :laugh:0

Everything...
18 months or so ago I could barely walk the dog around the block for 10-15 minutes without getting winded and needing a nap...now I routinely ride my bike for 30-40 miles and make easy work out of 5Ks running. To boot, I kill it in the weight room.0 -
Cardio fitness in the elite range at age 55!0

As already mentioned - everything! I don't think there's been an aspect of my life that hasn't been improved by becoming a healthier version of myself.
If I had to chose my favourite change I think it would be my mentality towards life. I'm a lot happier, positive and confident because of all the changes I've made. It's not necessarily because I've lost weight and "look better" but more a result of knowing that I can accomplish anything if I work hard and put the time in.0 -
I can see my toes...and other things...lol0

Getting off cholesterol meds was a big one for me.0

Stronger upper body...I actually have massive biceps now and my shoulders are strong and defined. I can rock climb without difficulty. While my abs aren't washboard or 0% fat, my core is super strong....
I guess it's strength overall and more energy...plus better controlled blood sugar levels.0 -
Greatest fitness improvement ---> Going from no (zero, ziltch, nada, niet...) exercise at all to a regular schedule and actually enjoying every minute of it0

Every time I run up a hill and I'm not out of breath, it makes me happy. Since that was a huge thing for me (I could barely run half a block or walk a flight of stairs without feeling like I might die), that's my favorite improvement.0

Feeling comfortable taking my shirt off at the pool and having my existing clothes fit looser (so smaller stomach then).0

LoL-nono I'm saying I DON'T have 0% body fat...My abs have a little "warmth layer" over them...LoL...but there's definitely muscle underneath0 -
Going from barely being able to job 60 seconds at a time, to jogging 30 mins non-stop!0

i have the upper hand against my fibromyalgia (80% of the time)0

I quit smoking. I've been a non-smoker for over three weeks and I'm not even struggling anymore. I forget to take my Chantix because I don't feel that I need it. It's probably the single best thing I've ever done for myself.0

<---My tiny guns, a smaller waist and a butt that you can bounce a quarter off of (according to my hubs). :drinker:0

Thanks to portion and quality control I can see my #€£¥% without the use of a mirror. I'm down about 50 lbs.
love the increased activity.... Running swimming and kayaking with a fishing rod0 -
So much has changed in my life but, my favorite is my cardio. Went from smoking to running a full marathon last weekend. I'm pretty proud of that!0
