As the title says: Since starting your fitness journey, what do you think has been your favourite/biggest improvement? Can be of both body and mind. Let's celebrate those accomplishments!

For me it's portion control, flatter stomach and less chubby thighs. c:

Mentally it's less worrying about what I look like to others, if my clothes are clinging to my fat, if I'll bend a flimsy chair, etc...physically, my legs look pretty good these days!

I like my biceps now but if I had to pick one, I'd go with the improved lung function. I play hockey just about year round and it's a world of difference from 2012, when I changed my lifestyle, to now

    Everything...

18 months or so ago I could barely walk the dog around the block for 10-15 minutes without getting winded and needing a nap...now I routinely ride my bike for 30-40 miles and make easy work out of 5Ks running. To boot, I kill it in the weight room.

As already mentioned - everything! I don't think there's been an aspect of my life that hasn't been improved by becoming a healthier version of myself.

If I had to chose my favourite change I think it would be my mentality towards life. I'm a lot happier, positive and confident because of all the changes I've made. It's not necessarily because I've lost weight and "look better" but more a result of knowing that I can accomplish anything if I work hard and put the time in.

Stronger upper body...I actually have massive biceps now and my shoulders are strong and defined. I can rock climb without difficulty. While my abs aren't washboard or 0% fat, my core is super strong....
I guess it's strength overall and more energy...plus better controlled blood sugar levels.

Greatest fitness improvement ---> Going from no (zero, ziltch, nada, niet...) exercise at all to a regular schedule and actually enjoying every minute of it

Every time I run up a hill and I'm not out of breath, it makes me happy. Since that was a huge thing for me (I could barely run half a block or walk a flight of stairs without feeling like I might die), that's my favorite improvement.

Feeling comfortable taking my shirt off at the pool and having my existing clothes fit looser (so smaller stomach then).

I quit smoking. I've been a non-smoker for over three weeks and I'm not even struggling anymore. I forget to take my Chantix because I don't feel that I need it. It's probably the single best thing I've ever done for myself.

So much has changed in my life but, my favorite is my cardio. Went from smoking to running a full marathon last weekend. I'm pretty proud of that!
