missed meals

I'd like to know what you all think I should do when I miss a meal or two. Today I went to the clinic thinking I'd be in and out fairly quick. No such luck. 4.5 hours later I left. I had missed a snack and lunch so when I got home I had my lunch. What do I do with the snack calories that I didn't eat? Do I consume them because I need to make up my 1200 calories for the day- or do I forget about them and hope it will bring me an extra bit of weight loss?

If it was me I would listen to my body, if I was hungry I would eat, if I wasnt then I would just skip it0

Honestly, when I go out and I know lunch time or a snack is soon, I will pack it. I have made turkey sandwiches many times on the go!0
