I joined MFP awhile back, but it was hit or miss. I have always managed to maintain my weight but once I hit 40, it hasn't been as easy and I have slowly blossomed to 210 pounds and with all of the fat on my torso, I am just not healthy. I am not a big gym person and I have always had one excuse or another why I couldn't go riding or running (jogging).
Well that changed just over 2 weeks ago, I joined FXB (Farrell's Extreme Bodyshaping), something I had resisted but I have friends who have gone through an amazing transformation and I thought why not me. It is 6 days a week, 3 days kickboxing and 3 days band resistance. Two plus weeks in and I am loving it. I have made it 13 days straight on MFP and been pretty good about being accurate, but now I need to suck it up and start getting an accurate representation of what I am eating.
I am trying to lose 1 pound a week and I am set at 1760, as I have a desk job and I am chained to it. I am looking for like minded people to help me through this journey and learn how they manage to log their food appropriately, the hardest part is eating out which I do in my job. While I try to eat high protein, high fibre/ good carbs, without taking a scale to a business lunch I have a hard time guestimating what I have consumed.
5 pounds down and another 20 to go!
Cheers
