You look fantabulous!! Just out of curiosity... how tall are you and what was your starting weight? I have at LEAST 60lbs. to lose so it would be great to know that after those 60lbs I could look as fab as you.

I know exactly what you mean. I remember my first half marathon. Immediately after the run I barely had enough strength to step off a curb, and forget about asking me to jump! I went home and took a 2hr nap. Regardless, the next day I looked online for another fun location to run.

This weekend I completed a half marathon in Nashville, my 13th run overall. I have no doubt you will pick another and find your running times becoming faster and faster.

Mike- your 13th run!! Congrats. :) And thanks for the encouragement!

Abby- hm. My advice.. Don't pick your first half marathon to be in the spring if you can't train that well in the winter. I live in Ohio and really struggled with my training this winter. It was really really cold here. It snowed a LOT. I got out when I could but I used the treadmill a lot too. I'd prefer to train outside. That's why I'm looking at another half this November. I can train all summer and fall. :) Whatever you decide... just commit to it and give it your all. It doesn't matter how fast or slow you go. Just do it. :)

    Thanks again everyone!
