Ankle weights - leg lifts

Will ankle weights make my legs bulky or burn more to make them lean ?

    If I can't get bulky lifting heavy weights, I think you're safe with ankle weights

    Lol.. I had to double check to make sure o.p want a bot! Lol.. no, I've been using them for about a year, and no, you have to eat a huge amount to get " bulky" your far from it! Good luck

    Ankle weights will mess up your joints...if you want to "tone" your legs,,,get on a strength training program and clean up your diet

    People do not pack on pounds of muscle by accident and they don't do it by lifting low weight at high repetition while at a caloric deficit. You will not get "bulky".

    You want "bulky" eat 3000 calories a day and do multiple sets of 5 rep squats and deadlifts with heavy weight until your calves, hams and quads feel like that are going to pop out of your skin.

    What you are describing is cardio.

    Not unless your ankle weights weigh 75 pounds each. I doubt they will have any effect.
