Quit smoking now trying to lose the weight gained

So I quit smoking Feb 17th of this year and it went great, Im feeling fantastic-other then the weight gain. When I quit I was 167 now i'm at 180. for a 5"3' frame that's not healthy. I have a gym membership and I go at least 3 times a week. I've been trying the green smoothies to kick start my weight loss because Im very uncomfortable at this weight. All my gain is my midsection, I feel bloated all the time. Any one else had bloating problems with the green smoothies. I try to stay below 1800 cals a day. Oh and I'm a carb-o-holic, so Im trying to pretty much stay away from it(bread, pasta, pizza.etc)
What can I do to get this weight moving down? I like the treadmill.
