Well yesterday I made a post that I had been sick for about a week now. I am starting to feel much better tha antibiotics are helping. I still feel pretty weak ( I had some sort of bacterial pneumonia). I didn't eat really anything for 2 days since I was running a fever. But I started eating my normal 1200 calories, ( a little over on some days). I weighed myself today and it looks like I have put back on 7 of the 10lbs I lost. I haven't been walking or anything, I wonder if this is the problem, could it be the antibiotics. Sorry for saying this but I have been a little constipated :blushing: I was just wondering if anyone had any idea of what is happening. It is really sad to realize that you have put back on the weight you have tried to lose. I have to admit that I actually expected that I would have lost a little after being sick. Any feedback is appreciated! :flowerforyou:

It's probably due to the fact that you are constipated. Once you've "emptied" out, you'll probably see a difference on the scale.
Keep your head up and don't give up.:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:0 -
It's also water weight gain, as someone posted on your last post. Please don't discount how much fluid you work out of your body as you move throughout the day. If you have been mostly sedentary (as I suspect you have with pneumonia), then you are not moving fluids through your body as quickly as usual. I believe most of that weight will come off when you are up and about and feeling better, which I hope is soon! :flowerforyou:0

I have been eating badly this last week, and resterday when I weighed myself the scale said I had gained 4 lbs back, I was feeling really down to! till toke a long walk, got back on track and this morning those 4 lbs were gone agian, so I think It was mostly water weight.
10 lbs still gone!
Keep up the good work you can do this.:flowerforyou:

Glad to hear you are starting to feel better! I'm sure as soon as you're back to your normal self and getting some exercise things will "move along" if you know what I mean. Moving around can help get the digestive track back on track.0

you've been through a lot and I agree w/ the others ...you'll get back there once you're up and about and don't worry too much about it....just get positive on what you'll be doing soon once your 100%
If somethings don't change call your dr. just let them know what's going on and most likey it will all just work its way out w/ moving around and all!
wishing you a speedy recovery hon!
hugs!
