end of day 4 & feel like I was in a car accident

Anybody else feeling the burn of going to the gym for the first time in way too long? Not even painkillers are fixing these aches. I'm on day 4 of diet modification and day 3 of the gym. I'm really bloated and I hurt in places I forgot about. I guess that's my punishment for letting myself go so much over the years. Who wants to join me and share the misery?

    This is my mantra when I do leg day:
    "One does not do leg day for one day. One does leg day for one day, and then feels leg day for three days".

    I did leg day one day (home workout; did squats, and a lift exercise by hooking my feet onto my bed, and lifting my body weight up and holding it), and felt it for DAYS afterwards. It's awful!

    Stretching and warming up can definitely curb that, and I've still tried to push myself to do light workouts (like walking, or focusing on a part of my body that doesn't feel like it wants to fall off) even when I feel like the way that you do. I've personally found that working the muscles can help curb my soreness a little.

    My first day of 30 day shred did that to me. It gets better.
