Really Struggling.

I'm finding this so difficult. I was doing brilliantly at the beginning of the year. Fell of the wagon. Got back on. Fallen off again. Got back on again today and I'm starving. I'm so hungry I could cry and I know I'm going to fall off again. I'm so fed up with living like this and I'm miserable about my size. I really want to succeed and I'm tired of starting over. I feel like a failure and can't see a way to finally get a grip on things. Any advice gratefully received.

I would love to offer a wonderful word of wisdom...but I can't I'm in the same boat that you're in. What keeps me halfway positive is that I fall off but I keep trying. I refuse to give up. I know that at some point I will succeed because I don't like being in pain. I don't like looking in the mirror knowing that I could be so much prettier. I don't like knowing that I am sucking away valuable years off of my life. I know that there are people who want to see me healthy. I want to see me healthy. I know that there are always people fighting this struggle with me. Don't feel bad that you keep falling off. Feel good that you keep trying and starting over.0

Don't give up, you can do this.
It's taken me about 10 years of falling off the wagon, sulking for months at a time, dusting myself back off & getting back on that damn wagon to get to where I am now.
It is a struggle, but you will get to a point where it will all click into place and you'll suddenly 'get it'. For me it was January last year when I thought I might lose some weight for a family wedding, so I decided to take a before photo and measurements to see how far I could get - I realised then that I HAD to do something about my weight; my ticker is now on 479 days and 2 stone 11lb lost (I'm going down the slow & steady route here)
Make sure you're getting enough calories a day - there's nothing worse than thinking "well I'm still hungry, but I've got no calories left for the day" and then falling off the wagon, if you fill up on 1500 cals of fresh fruit & veg rather than 1200 of over processed diet food you might find that staying on the wagon is more achievable.
Good luck. xx0 -
How many calories are you eating? Do you know your approx BMR and TDEE? You do not need to be starving or miserable to lose weight. In fact, that's counterproductive. You need a modest calorie deficit and patience.
