Ideas when starting out

Options
I'm not starting out..I guess I'm continuing and carrying on from where I left off over a year ago.

Something I have found interesting. If you want pizza, make your own. You can measure everything. You know what's in it. You can add healthier toppings and it's much cheaper...even tastes better.

I made my first tropical style salad today....it's great....got all my fruit and veggie servings in today because of it....

Good luck everyone on your endevours! I'm with you!

Home cooked food from scratch is so much better - not only can I track all the ingredients, but it teaches me and my family (who often watch me cook) the very essence of healthy eating.
I do use ready meals at times - I'm a nurse and work shifts so it's convenient - but when I have time I cook a big batch of meals, divide them up and freeze them. Not only does it work out healthier, but oh, so cheap too!
