I ate a bit too much, this is what I'll do now...

I'll run 16 kilometers in the forest, right after writing this post!
I made a nice route and I should be able to do this (yesterday I did 11 km). It's a while ago that I ran this much, but I am sure this is doable for me. I'll burn about 1500 calories and have a good time!
What would you do if you ate too much?

I would probably take a nap, first off
Then I would go to the gym and work off as many of the extra calories that I can!

this.
Overeating and then trying to fix it creates negative behavioral patterns.
I will often times bank calories to accommodate for days where I know I'll be eating more- or an undetermined amount.
But I'm not going out of my way to "fix" it.0 -
Enjoy the hell out of the indulgence, get pissed, call it a wash and try harder the next day. If it was only a couple hundred calories I'll just jump on the elliptical for 20 mins for a quick 200 calorie burn. Other than that... whatevs... sht happens0

I may throw an extra workout in, but otherwise I'll just try to plan my food choices better. I ate way too much when we went to the Casino, but it was delicious.0

I'm back. I ran about 18 kilometers, got a bit lost in the forest!
It was nice, I enjoyed it! Somewhere I spotted a deer, got within 10 meters of her!
Interesting to read how you deal with overeating. I agree that just moving on to the next day is a good idea, but I think every now and then doing a good amount of exercise isn't bad, if it doesn't become the norm. I felt that my body was ready for this amount of exercise, so I allowed myself to do this. If I didn't feel this energized, I wouldn't have done this.
Doing a bit of exercise is never bad if you feel good and motivated for the exercising itself.
Thanks for the comments and have a good evening (or morning/afternoon)!0
