fish is definitely a big part of my diet. in fact, 3-4 days a week i eat tuna fish (in the foil packet) for lunch or dinner. In addition, I may have fish (like tilapia or salmon) for a meal twice a week as well. Tuna packets are convenient; great protein; low calorie; goes great with veggies, etc. then i started to question the mercury content. my research suggests i am eating over the recommended guidelines for fish per week. I guess I need to start to think of protein alternatives to my lunch. lunch meat turns me off due to high sodium content. i can do hard boiled eggs and cheese, I guess. baked chicken (but will require more prep). I can definitely make the change. Just wondering if anyone else eats a lot of fish and shares my concern.
