I don't typically have a snack but yes, most days my calories left for dinner are between 500-700.

It's not really calories "left" because I pre-log my entire week in advance and stick to the plan more often than not, but my dinners range from 450-550.

I usually have a lot more than that, but I'm sitting on my rear end all day, so tend to eat light during the day and big at dinner for my own needs and also so I don't end up having to cook different meals for the husband and myself, or so I don't end up putting him on my diet. I know a lot of folks keep it more even throughout the day, though, and this amount seems in the norm.

Yep that's me as well. I usually don't add work out calories in until after I eat dinner

I save most of my calories for night time, because I am so hungry at night! It also prevents me from snacking if I ate a lot during the day

Between 800-1,200, depending on if it's a workout day.

My dinner is 450-900 calories based on my workouts. Right now I have 608 remaining for the day, but I am planning on running 5K tonight, so I may have closer to 950 by the time I'm done, which would be awesome.

I HAVE 949 CALORIES LEFT FOR THIS EVENING. That's because I ran today. I will probably eat a yummy dinner and then maybe have popcorn after while I watch TV... though, I have been trying to get away from "snacking" in the evenings. But I do nee to have a generous dinner at night. I can't stand going to bed hungry.

I pre plan and right now "dinner" happens at 10:30 at night so I have cereal and milk. It's light, digestible and yummy. My big meal is breakfast (420 cal)then I eat the rest sporadically throughout the day: snack (230) sandwich (430) cereal (250) dessert (220) for a total of 1550.

I normally go home from work with 500-700 calories for dinner and a snack. I also workout in the evening, and I generally eat a little more on nights I run.
  • sounds about right I guess.. I also pre log my breakfast and dinner for the next day.. I dont pre log snacks and lunch simply because I kinda eat whatever feels right.. sometime I do a few mini meals and snacks and other times leftover from the night before.

I usually have 800-100 calories left for the afternoon but I like to have dessert every night and that's usually around 300 cals.
